Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Osage Indians vs. Grain Valley Eagles

Fort Osage is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Grain Valley is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Indians will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Fort Osage made easy work of Ruskin and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fort Osage was: they took every set by at least 20 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-5, 25-5.

Meanwhile, Grain Valley got the win against Chrisman on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grain Valley took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-13, 25-5.

Fort Osage's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Grain Valley, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.
