Volleyball Recap: Hubbard Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hubbard won the last time they faced Farragut and things went their way on Friday too. The Greyhounds didn't even let the Admirals on the board, marking the Greyhounds' second-straight 2-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Greyhounds, who have now won four matches in a row.

Hubbard easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12.

Mia Jauregui went supernova, getting nine digs, eight aces, and five kills. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Morales, who had seven aces and six digs.

They weren't the only good server: Hubbard was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Hubbard's record is now 4-0. As for Farragut, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hubbard will host Lindblom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Farragut, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clark at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
