Meanwhile, Mt. Ararat owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past Mount Desert Island 28-0. Considering the Eagles have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Mt. Ararat and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Lake Region, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.
