Basketball Game Preview: Richmond Hill Wildcats vs. Glynn Academy Terrors

The Richmond Hill Wildcats will challenge the Glynn Academy Terrors at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Glynn Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Richmond Hill, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Richmond Hill turned things around against Tift County on Friday. They walked away with a 38-26 victory over the Blue Devils. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 60th).

Meanwhile, Glynn Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by Brunswick and fell 83-28. The Terrors were down 75-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Glynn Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Richmond Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Everything came up roses for Richmond Hill against Glynn Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 66-24 win. In that game, Richmond Hill amassed a halftime lead of 43-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
