Volleyball Preview: Hyannis Longhorns vs. Brady Eagles
On Friday Hyannis will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to challenge the Brady Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Brady took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hyannis, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Hyannis had just enough and edged Sandhills Valley out 2-1.
Hyannis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-15.
Meanwhile, Brady came up short against Maywood/Hayes Center on Tuesday and fell 2-0.
While Brady was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23.
Hyannis' win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16. As for Brady, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
