The Camden Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Westside Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Camden is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Daniel 52-14. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 51-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Camden to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Smith, who picked up 72 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 57 yards and one score on only five carries. Another signal caller making a difference was Greyson Rimpf, who threw for 162 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 passes.

Meanwhile, Westside waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hurricanes 55-20.

Camden better focus on containing Keylan Powell and Bear Woods as the pair were huge in Westside's win. Powell rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, while Woods threw for 322 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt. Powell's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 130 rushing yards.

Westside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kwon Simpkins and Jacob Lewis.

Camden's record is now 9-3. As for Westside, their record now sits at 8-4.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Camden has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 193 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Westside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 183.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Camden was dealt a bruising 49-7 loss at the hands of Westside in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bulldogs were down 42-0.
