Soccer Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

Jackson County was the 5-1 winner over Monterey when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Jackson County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson County's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-9. As for Monterey, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-5-1.

Jackson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monterey, they will face off against Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
