Windermere Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 65-12 win over South Lake. Given the Lakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Eagles are ranked 255th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Blue Darters as they made off with a 68-44 victory. The Pioneers pushed the score to 54-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Darters had little chance of recovering from.

Windermere Prep pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.
