St. Johns Country Day extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Brito. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won ten matchups in a row.

Preston Cole was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

St. Johns Country Day's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Brito, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 15-15 record.

As of now, neither St. Johns Country Day nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
