Basketball Recap: Bonham Takes a Loss

Bonham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 61-16 defeat at the hands of the Van Alstyne Panthers. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bonham's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Van Alstyne, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 8-21 record.

Bonham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-52 win against Pittsburg on the 24th. As for Van Alstyne, they will head out to square off against Aubrey at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aubrey knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Van Alstyne likes a good challenge.
