Baseball Recap: Breckenridge Comes Up Short

Breckenridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the All Saints Central Cougars. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in June of 2017.

Breckenridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-16-2. As for All Saints Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Breckenridge and All Saints Central will both be playing Central the next time they take the field. The Huskies will head out to face the Wolves at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
