Baseball Recap: Caledonia Takes a Loss

Caledonia and Pine Island squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Caledonia had to settle for second. They lost 8-2 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 two weeks ago.

Caledonia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Ginther, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Caledonia's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Pine Island, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

As of now, neither Caledonia nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
