Volleyball Recap: Trinity Wong and Emily Lucatero Secure Win for Steele Canyon + How To Watch

Steele Canyon's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the West Hills Wolf Pack 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Steele Canyon wouldn't go down easily and took West Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 20-25, 26-24, 25-18, 19-25, 15-8.

Leading Steele Canyon to victory were Emily Lucatero and Trinity Wong. Lucatero had 13 digs, while Wong had 26 assists. Those 26 assists gave Wong a new career-high. Izzy Trotto also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Steele Canyon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The win got Steele Canyon back to even at 6-6. As for West Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
