Heritage Christian Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were dealt a 73-45 defeat at the hands of Restoration Academy. On the bright side, the 45- point effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Restoration Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Restoration Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zach Bent, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 15 points. Cortez Ruffin was another key player, putting up eight points and six steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tuscaloosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026. As for Restoration Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Central HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. Restoration Academy will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.43 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
