The two teams will face off  at 2:30  p.m.  without much rest, having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Wednesday, Petersburg lost to Wrangell at home  by a   48-30 margin.
Meanwhile, Craig suffered their closest  defeat since January 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Haines by a score of  47-45.
Petersburg will need to focus on slowing down  Sara Steffen, one of several Craig players who made an impact when they last played. She  dropped  a double-double with 21  points and 15  boards. Steffen's evening made it three games in a row in which  she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was  Abigail Patten, who  dropped  a double-double with ten points and 18  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Craig  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive boards they've posted since back in March of 2024.
