Football Recap: Farrell Skates Past Cathedral Prep with Ease

Farrell waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 46-7 win over the Cathedral Prep Ramblers. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-7.

Farrell was led to victory by AAron Pegues and Juelz Johnson. Pegues rushed for 66 yards and two scores on only seven carries, while Johnson rushed for 120 yards and one TD on only 14 carries. Johnson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Farrell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 244 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Farrell's record is now 7-2. As for Cathedral Prep, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

As of now, neither Farrell nor the Ramblers have any future games scheduled.
