Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chatham Charter). Everything went their way against the Triangle Math & Science Tigers on Wednesday as Chatham Charter made off with an 8-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Chatham Charter needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

They hit Triangle Math & Science with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaylee Root (4), Emily Scheidt (3), and Kaylee Moffitt.

Chatham Charter's record now sits at 2-4. As for Triangle Math & Science, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chatham Charter will head out to take on Clover Garden School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Triangle Math & Science, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ascend Leadership at 4:00 p.m. on April 7.
