The Vanguard School waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Custer County Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Coursers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading The Vanguard School to victory were Laila Czarniawski and Aili Haisley. Czarniawski had 12 digs, while Haisley had 15 digs and two assists. Haisley has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last four times she's played.

The Vanguard School's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Custer County, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

The Vanguard School has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Swink on the 11th. As for Custer County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against La Veta on the 14th.
