Basketball Recap: East Lake Takes a Loss

East Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boca Ciega Pirates.

East Lake's record now sits at 2-14. As for Boca Ciega, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the East Lake Eagles take on the Dunedin Falcons at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boca Ciega, they and Pinellas Park will face off at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
