Hiram came into Monday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Marietta Blue Devils on Monday. The Hornets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Arizona Jones made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jones was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Preseleigh Kimbrell was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Isabella Reyes, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
