Basketball Recap: Hiram Comes Up Short

Hiram was the 84-59 winner over Dalton when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hiram Hornets took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dalton Catamounts on Thursday.

Hiram has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Dalton, their record now sits at 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hiram will venture away from home to square off against Southeast Whitfield County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dalton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cartersville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
