Volleyball Recap: First Assembly Christian Comes Up Short

First Assembly Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Northpoint Christian Trojans, falling 3-0. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-16.

Northpoint Christian found their leader in sophomore Sarah Johnson, who had six digs and one block. Mckenzie Roach also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

First Assembly Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Northpoint Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Looking ahead, First Assembly Christian will take on St. Benedict at Auburndale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northpoint Christian, they will welcome Jackson Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
