Volleyball Game Preview: Elk Lake Warriors vs. Montrose Meteors

The Elk Lake Warriors will face off against the Montrose Meteors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Elk Lake didn't have quite enough to beat Scranton and fell 3-2.

Elk Lake wouldn't go down easily and took Scranton into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-14, 25-21, 20-25, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Montrose entered their matchup against Abington Heights on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Meteors came up short against the Comets, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Meteors have suffered since October 25, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-17.

Montrose's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Elk Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
