Basketball Recap: Cibola Cougars vs. La Cueva Bears
Cibola and La Cueva squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Cibola had to settle for second. They fell 65-56 to the La Cueva Bears. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 58-55.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead La Cueva to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tony Trujillo, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 17 points and five boards. Trujillo's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.
