After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archie, Adrian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Holden Eagles 10-8. While the Blackhawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Adrian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Holden, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Adrian and Holden will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Blackhawks see the field they'll take on Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Holden, their break will end when they face Richmond at 4:30 p.m. on the 20th.
