After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside Indian, Lone Grove was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Varnum Whippets 61-30. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Lone Grove pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Varnum, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.
