Basketball Recap: Webbers Falls Drops Highest Score of Season Against Owasso Preparatory Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Webbers Falls). They secured a 53-49 W over the Owasso Preparatory Academy Lions on Friday.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tysen Jenkins, who posted 16 points. The matchup was Jenkins' seventh in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Rinas, who put up ten points.

The win got Webbers Falls back to even at 2-2. As for Owasso Preparatory Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Webbers Falls is taking a road trip to challenge Braggs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Owasso Preparatory Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Eagle Point Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
