It's playoff time, and Roanoke-Benson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Ridgeview Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Mustangs on October 7th, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

While Roanoke-Benson might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Ridgeview scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20.

Jordyn Tomlinson paced Roanoke-Benson's offense, picking up six kills. Tomlinson got some help from Haley Hodel and her 12 assists. Josie Weber controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Roanoke-Benson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-23-1 record this season. As for Ridgeview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-21.

Coming up, Roanoke-Benson will challenge Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ridgeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
