            Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Essex walked away with it. They took their  game  on Tuesday with ease, bagging  a  64-32 victory over the Charles City Panthers. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
Leading Essex to victory were  Morgan Self and  Aryeon Robinson.  Self  dropped  a double-double with 23  points and 16  boards, while  Robinson  posted 21 points in addition to eight  steals and five  assists. Those  21 points gave  Robinson a new career-high.  Makiryn Williams was another key player,  putting up six  points and 11  rebounds.

 Essex  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 33  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in 31 consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
