Basketball Recap: Kankakee Trinity Academy Comes Up Short

Kankakee Trinity Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against Donovan/St. Anne, falling 60-18. Kankakee Trinity Academy was probably out for revenge after losing 50-28 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elise Boerema was Kankakee Trinity Academy's leading scorer, having posted 12 points. Macey Monacelli held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.

Donovan/St. Anne will take on Illinois Lutheran in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Donovan/St. Anne is facing Illinois Lutheran at the right time seeing as Illinois Lutheran is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
