Basketball Game Preview: Obion County Rebels vs. South Gibson Hornets

Obion County is 2-8 against South Gibson since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Obion County Rebels are taking a road trip to take on the South Gibson Hornets at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Obion County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.

On Thursday, Obion County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-59 to South Gibson.

South Gibson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points over those games. As for Obion County, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 17-8.
