Softball Recap: St. Cecilia Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Nashville Magnet two weeks ago, St. Cecilia Academy came back down to earth. The Scarabs came up short against the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals on Wednesday, falling 20-5. The contest marked the Scarabs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Cecilia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Cecilia Academy will take on Whites Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they will square off against Pearl-Cohn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
