Football Game Preview: Woodlands Falcons vs. Hastings Yellow Jackets

The Woodlands Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Hastings Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Woodlands is looking for their season's first win.

Woodlands is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Irvington on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 40-6. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hastings beat Edgemont 20-16 on Friday.

Woodlands' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hastings, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Woodlands ended up a good deal behind Hastings in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, losing 16-0. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
