Bridgeland put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. They blew past the Cypress Park Tigers 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bridgeland is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Cypress Park and nudges their season record down to 5-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgeland will host Bellaire at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cypress Park, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Langham Creek at 7:00 p.m.
