Briarcrest Christian put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx 76-58.

Despite the defeat, Lausanne Collegiate saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zuri McClure shot 60% from the field on his way to 18 points and five rebounds. McClure's afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Pittman III, who posted eight points.

Briarcrest Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Lausanne Collegiate, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Briarcrest Christian will venture away from home to square off against Collierville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will host Crosstown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
