McPherson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Chanute Blue Comets get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Bullpups have won by exactly 15 runs.

Brock Richardson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carter Bengtson, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

McPherson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .600 or higher in five consecutive contests.

McPherson pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Chanute, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McPherson will square off against Andale on Monday. As for Chanute, they will venture away from home to take on Parsons on Tuesday.
