Volleyball Recap: West Mecklenburg Comes Up Short

West Mecklenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olympic Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 15-25, 25-19, 25-21.

West Mecklenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Olympic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Mecklenburg will welcome Harding University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olympic, they will host Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
