Cactus Shadows is 3-0 against Coconino since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cactus Shadows Falcons will face off against the Coconino Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Cactus Shadows knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Coconino likes a good challenge.

Last Monday, Cactus Shadows didn't have too much trouble with Marcos de Niza as they won 71-55.

Meanwhile, Coconino hadn't done well against Bradshaw Mountain recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Coconino had just enough and edged Bradshaw Mountain out 63-60. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Coconino pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Cactus Shadows, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Cactus Shadows strolled past Coconino in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 63-46. Will Cactus Shadows repeat their success, or does Coconino have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
