McCurdy had won four straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 13-3 to make it five. They blew past the Questa Wildcats 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Questa, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. The shutout was out of character for they seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Jocelyne Ortega and Ariana Medina certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Ortega had 23 digs, while Medina had 15 digs. Ortega has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last six times she's played.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McCurdy is set to take on their familiar foe Escalante at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Questa will face off against rival Penasco at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
