Basketball Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 78-37 defeat at the hands of the Kennedale Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 626th, while the Wildcats are ranked 120th).

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Kennedale, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Hillsboro the next time they take the court. Kennedale will host Hillsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Ferris will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
