Soccer Game Preview: North Monterey County vs. Greenfield

The North Monterey County Condors are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on the Greenfield Bruins at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, North Monterey County didn't have quite enough to beat Monterey and fell 2-1. The Condors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Greenfield beat Rancho San Juan 3-1 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Bruins have won by exactly two goals.

They hit Rancho San Juan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cristopher Castro, Hector Garcia, and Anthony Zavala.

North Monterey County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Greenfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-1-2 record this season.

North Monterey County took their victory against Greenfield in their previous meeting back in January of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Monterey County since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
