Basketball Recap: Brooklyn Takes a Loss

After soaring to 60 points the game before, Brooklyn was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Fairview Warriors, falling 78-28. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Devin Hardwick and Aiden Starr certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hardwick posted 17 points and five rebounds, while Starr earned six points. That was a full 60.7% of Brooklyn's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points.

Brooklyn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Fairview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Brooklyn will head out to face off against Cuyahoga Heights at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairview, they will take on Beachwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairview is facing Beachwood at the right time seeing as Beachwood is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
