Baseball Recap: Clearfield's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Clearfield took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Green Canyon, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Clearfield skirted past Green Canyon 3-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Drew Bremer was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Chambers, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Clearfield's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Green Canyon, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coming up, Clearfield will host Malad at 3:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Green Canyon, they will square off against Northridge at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
