Baseball Game Recap: Milford Tigers vs. Spring Mountain Eagles

Milford had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Spring Mountain Eagles a 13-0 shutout.

Kilo Tsosie was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Toby LaOrange was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Max Williams was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Milford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 win against Beaver Dam on the 7th. As for Spring Mountain, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-8 victory against GV Christian on the 7th.
