Football Recap: McArthur Takes a Loss

McArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 14-0 fall against the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 13th).

McArthur's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McArthur will take on Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they will challenge Chaminade-Madonna at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
