Football Game Preview: Tullahoma Wildcats vs. Franklin County Rebels + How To Watch

Tullahoma and Franklin County are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Wildcats will host the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Tullahoma and Rockvale were almost perfectly matched up, but Tullahoma suffered a 37-36 loss. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Defeat or not, Tullahoma got some senior leadership from Marvancy Johnson and Lucas Reed. Johnson gained 106 total yards, while Reed threw for 139 yards and a pair of TDs. Reed's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wildcats' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Franklin County played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Lawrence County 52-7. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-0.

Tullahoma's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Franklin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
