Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Lakehill Prep's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lakehill Prep can now relate to. The matchup between the Lakehill Prep Warriors and the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Lakehill Prep Warriors falling 64-48. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 54-36 defeat back in February.

Yavneh Academy was led to victory by Darren Sacher and Brendy Eber. Sacher dropped a double-double with 20 points and 14 boards, while Eber went 6-for-8 en route to 14 points and three steals. That's the most points Eber has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aeden Haviv, who put up 12 points.

Lakehill Prep moved to 25-8 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Yavneh Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-9.

Lakehill Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yavneh Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 55-45 win against Live Oak Classical on the 27th.
