Soccer Recap: Central Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Central Valley Christian pushed their score to three the last time they played Kingsburg, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The Central Valley Christian Cavaliers fell 2-0 to the Kingsburg Vikings. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cavaliers couldn't quite close it out.

Central Valley Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season. As for Kingsburg, they pushed their record up to 7-13-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Central Valley Christian will challenge Bakersfield Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Central Valley Christian is facing Bakersfield Christian at the right time seeing as Bakersfield Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kingsburg, they will take on Sierra Pacific at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra Pacific's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
