New Hanover piles up the points against Wayne Preparatory Academy

The New Hanover Wildcats entered their tilt with the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. New Hanover simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Wayne Preparatory Academy 59-25 at home. With that win, New Hanover brought their scoring average up to 52.3 points per game.

New Hanover's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tamorie Wilson, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals. Wilson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brianna Stanley, who scored 13 points.

New Hanover's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wayne Preparatory Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

New Hanover will be playing in front of their home fans against Coastal Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne Preparatory Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Martin County at 11:30 a.m. on December 2nd.
