Softball Game Preview: Sundown Roughnecks vs. Haskell Indians

For the second straight game, Sundown will face off against Haskell. The Roughnecks will host the Indians at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Sundown 3.1, Haskell 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Sundown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Haskell with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Roughnecks have won 24 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Haskell's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan Adkins, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Sundown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Haskell, with the defeat, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-7.
